Born in London to a photographer father and ballet dancer mother, Martha Haversham combines surreal, small-scale collage/assemblage with still life ‘rejectamenta’ photography.

 

Martha has developed her distinctive ‘trashion’ style, recycling high-worth detritus to ‘dress the imagination’ since 2018 under the label Smallditch launched on Instagram. Each piece is numbered according to when they first appeared on her feed. 

 

Her numerous commissions include M le Monde, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Stella McCartney, Lulu Guinness and Nike.

 

 She lives in Essex with a coastal studio near Jaywick, Clacton-on-Sea where she finds the majority of her collections on the streets and glorious, light-filled beaches.
