'Bananas are fascinating fabrics to work with - you have to be quick as they change their colours very quickly. This banana skin is classic trashion; it was found in Essex and captured in my studio in Clacton-on-Sea during the summer season of 2024. Visual artists have always loved bananas; this one caught the imagination and proved a popular very garment, I just like the stitching, it allows for a quick getaway.. '
